Konnichiwa, Nagasaki!

Real Sociedad are already in Nagasaki, where they’ll play the first of two friendly matches scheduled in Japan this week.

Take Kubo, joined by a large group of enthusiastic local fans, welcomed his teammates as they arrived at the team hotel and is now part of the travelling squad. Tomorrow, the team will take on V-Varen Nagasaki on their home ground, before heading to Yokohama to face Yokohama FC on the 25th. Both matches will kick off at 12:00 (Donostia time) and can be watched live on our official YouTube channel.

This trip is part of the team’s pre-season preparations and also a chance to share our colours with fans on another continent. For this special week, Sergio Francisco has called up the following players:
