When we asked the YUWA NGO founder about his feelings after living two weeks with us, he said that he felt he had a family in Donostia. Both he and the rest of the expedition have shown their gratitude and happiness.

Some years ago, YUWA NGO created a football school in India, a school in which girls could play football. Thus, football wouldn’t only be a boys sport . This idea was a great success and it is achieving great things among the Hindu society.

Thanks to the invitation of Real Sociedad Fundazioa and Olarain University Hall of Residence, these two weeks have been unforgettable for the YUWA expedition. The eight players and their technical staff didn’t stop learning and enjoying this life experience until the last minute.

They have been here for 18 days and they have been able to study, know the Real Sociedad educational model, visit different places around Gipuzkoa and do activities that were very fun for them.

Thanks to this initiative by Real Sociedad Fundazioa and Olarain University Hall of Residence, these girls have been able to grow wonderfully. From now on, many Hindu girls will begin to take an interest in football and decide on their own destiny.
