Assembly & hoisting of trusses on stands stretching down touchlines

This stage involves the construction of the trusses which will support the new stand cover from ground level towards the track in an enclosed zone.

Once assembled, several large cranes will hoist the trusses from platforms into their positions on the corner pillars. These procedures will be carried out during a period in which there are no games being held at the stadium and the trusses secured to the stands stretching down the touchlines will be the last to be put in place.
