Veterans' Association

They're the ones responsible for having built our club's 100-year history over the course of the years. Their effort and dedication laid the foundations for our beloved La Real as we know it today. They're our history, our pride and our passion. They're our veterans. They're La Real.

It was back in 1965 that La Real's former players began to get together in a bid to strengthen their ties with the Txuri-urdin. The La Real Veterans' Association was officially founded in 2002. Right since its inception, the group, led by the organisation's first president José Mari Castivia, has played an active role in social outreach projects. Apart from their footballing activities, which sees them take part in the Northern Veterans League and participate in various tournaments, our veterans are fully committed to fulfilling their social outreach responsibilities. Our veterans are 100% committed to doing their bit to help those associations that work to assist others, whilst also attending to the needs of former teammates who find themselves in situations of difficulty.

The Veterans' Association currently boasts 170 members. Since 2013, Alberto Gorriz has been the institution's president.
