Countless famous faces came to Berazubi to bid an emotional farewell as Mikel Alonso, former txuri urdin player, played his last-ever game. His one-time Real teammates were also there. His brother Xabi Alonso, Xabi Prieto, Rekarte, Llorente, Gabilondo, Gurrutxaga, Boris, Larrea and many others gathered together in Tolosa. Ex-players from Real and Antiguoko (Mikel played for that club) played a match at the Tolosa’s stadium which was the perfect venue to say goodbye to Mikel Alonso.
