Real keep on climbing. Tonight, the txuri urdin beat a difficult opponent in a beautiful match where the second half was just perfect, with a brace from Oyarzabal and a brilliant goal by Willian José.

Today was a great opportunity to keep adding points and be close to the teams leading the table. Real wanted to find their place at the top of the table. On their behalf, Leganés were in good shape and getting good results. Their awesome performance this season did not come about by chance. The first half was even, the cucumbers were close to break the deadlock through Juanfran, but his shot hit the post. Real improved their performance as the game went on. Willian José and Merino had clear chances on goal but Cuellar denied them. We could foretell that Pellegrino’s team would not be easy to overcome.

However, Real came out all guns blazing in the second half. Real were clearly better than the cucumbers, putting in great performances that allowed them to take the lead. Mikel Oyarzabal scored a brace. First, he scored with a header after an assist by Januzaj. Nine minutes later, Merino and Januzaj put him trough on goal and Mikel slotted home to add a second. The team from Madrid were not creating danger but they had a chance through En Nesyri, whose shot was saved by Rulli. Willian José’s goal was the icing on the cake.

Another win for Real, who make it nine games unbeaten. Thus, Real get back to winning ways and are optimistic about the future. Aúpa Real!
