The YUWA NGO expedition is enjoying every minute in San Sebastián. They have been invited by Real Sociedad Fundazioa and Olarain University Hall of Residence. It´s been ten days since they arrived here and they will be able to live unforgettable experiences till Monday. The eight football players and their technical staff are learning, enjoying and gaining insight into other realities.

They had the chance to watch the games against Real Madrid and Valencia CF in Anoeta. During the week, they go to Zubieta every morning and do sporting activities as well as learn the Real Sociedad educational model. In the afternoon, they go to Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián where they learn to play tennis and enjoy swimming in the pool.

Moreover, the expedition is housed in Olarain University Hall of Residence. There, they live together with other people and also study. In their free time, they have visited Eureka! Science Museum, Albaola Museum and they also had the chance to row together with Hibaika rowers.

  

YUWA

YUWA is an NGO from India, they work in Jharkhand, one of the most poor states of eastern India. Since its creation in 2009, they fight against child marriage, human trafficking and illiteracy by the integration of girls in their educational centre. Yuwa uses football and sporting programs to put every girl´s future in her own hands. In this case, the reality is that football is crucial in saving lives.
