VALENCIA CF 0-0 REAL SOCIEDAD

A well earned point

Real come away with a point from Mestalla. Due to their dominance on the pitch and chances, the realistas played a great match. The home side had a number of good goalscoring chances but both sides took their share of the points at Mestalla. Real Sociedad continue with the good run of results.

In the first half, Real’s dominance was clear while Valencia were backing themselves on the counter. Januzaj was close to break the deadlock but his shot failed to test the goalkeeper.

In the second half, the hosts looked dangerous every time they attacked but the goal did not arrive. Real tried to defend themselves against Valencia, who failed to get the opening goal. In the final minutes, Theo put Sandro on goal. However, the play was not easy and the ball hit an opponent.

This is a positive draw, Imanol’s team are on the right track. On Saturday, Real will face Leganés at Anoeta. Aúpa Real!
