Real Sociedad and Alejandro Remiro have reached an agreement that will see the goalkeeper join Real Sociedad from July 1, 2019. The new realista joins as a free agent and will sign for the club until June 30, 2023. The player will be presented next month.
Alejandro Remiro was born in Cascante on 24 March, 1995. He started playing for his local team and then joined Athletic Bilbao’s youth system, where he stayed two seasons. In 2016, Remiro was loaned to Levante UD for one year. He played four games for the granota team and was recalled by his parent club late into the following transfer window. In 2017, Remiro moved to SD Huesca on a one-year loan deal. He played a major role in the club achieving promotion to the top tier for the first time in their history, only missing one game in 42. Last season he returned to Athletic, but he didn’t play any game. The player from Navarre has played in Spain’s U-17 and U-20 sides and joins Real with a desire to continue growing and demonstrate his potential. He will strengthen the txuri urdin goal. Welcome!
