Real had no options at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. The txuri urdin team lost against Sevilla 5-2. The score was 1-1 at the break but the side from Seville went ahead in the second half. Real were unable to pick up points in what was a bad performance.

The beginning of the match at the Pizjuán was a hard-fought encounter. Both teams put in a good performance and created goal scoring chances. With 25 minutes on the clock, Sevilla took the lead through Sarabia but three minutes later Oyarzabal beat Soriano with a crossed shot. A tight first-half had the teams go into the break all level.

The home side dominated the second half and Sevilla surpassed Real in 16 minutes. Ben Yedder’s hat-trick put the game to bed. Mikel Oyarzabal scored an own goal but later converted from the penalty spot adding the second for Real.

This second straight defeat lower our ambitions. We must restore confidence, lift our heads up and win again. Real will play next Friday against Levante at Anoeta. Aúpa Real!
