Real Sociedad fell in Getafe. An early mistake has led to the third straight defeat for Real in a match which saw the txuri urdin team incapable of achieving a positive result at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

An early goal by Jorge Molina put the locals in front and that made it very difficult for Real. Our team was towed along by Getafe, a rival whose effectiveness was proved crucial. After the goal, Real was close to an equaliser, but the realistas’ efforts couldn’t make it on target. First, Oyarzabal’s shot went just wide. Then, Juanmi failed to score a lob. Getafe also had goalscoring opportunities, specially when Djene’s strike hit the upper corner of the net.

In the second half, Real did not give up and went all out for the equaliser. They had the possession but Garitano’s men couldn’t penetrate the final third. Real had more chances, but without luck up front. This third straight defeat stops Real from being close to the teams ranking. Aúpa Real!
