La Real were unable to add a point in today’s game at the Reale Arena. An early goal by Carlos Fernández put the txuri urdin in front but Fernando and En Nesyri hit back with two goals to settle the game.
The match got off to a lively start with both teams playing at a high tempo and with plenty of intensity. Sevilla is a good team that might even be able to win the league. La Real came out all guns blazing right from the first whistle and carved out a chance to open the scoring through Carlos Fernández. Shortly afterwards, the former Sevilla player produced an excellent strike to put Imanol’s side in front. It was his first goal as a txuri urdin player. Then, Sevilla grew into the game and equalized through Fernando. Two minutes later, En Nesyri scored to put Lopetegi’s side in front. Remiro and the post saved the realistas from more suffering as the side from Sevilla could have added more. It was a hard blow for the realistas.
Despite the txuri urdin’s fightback in the second half, there were few chances more. En Nesyri had a chance to put the gloss on the win but Remiro read the one-on-one situation to keep him out. The side from Seville took all the three points. Aupa Real!
