This afternoon, Real drew with Sevilla FC in a tight match at Anoeta (0-0). The realistas performed well against a big opponent but were unable to make the most of their chances and continue to seek their home win at the New Anoeta.
It was a big game. Sevilla is a tough opponent which is at the top the table. The realistas had their eyes set on a victory at their home. The first half was tight, with none of the teams creating danger attacks. Muriel could have opened the scoring but Moyá denied him by pushing his shot wide. It was a very competitive encounter with both teams trying to press high up the pitch.
The second half half got underway with both teams in their pursuit for a goal. Sevilla were creating danger while the realistas were attacking with speed up front. Januzaj fired a powerful shot which went just wide and Sandro failed to find the back of the net. The final minutes were animated but lacked precision. We needed to get points and one is not enough. Victories will come! Aúpa Real!
