Tonight, Real got an important win at the Ciutat de Valencia. In the beginning, the clash lacked a bit of gas in the tank. However, it stayed switched on until the end with Real putting on a show after the break by scoring three goals.
The hosts took the lead in the 4th minute. Chema scored with a left footed-effort from outside the box and our goalkeeper couldn’t deny it. It was a bad start for Real which didn’t create goal scoring opportunities in the first half. The granotas were superior.
Real had to react in the second half. The coach made some changes trying to keep the scores level. After a great play from Moyá, who stopped the second goal of the game, Theo came close to netting our equaliser with a crossed shot from long range. Real were pressing high and turned the game around in four minutes. First, Theo scored with a left-footed effort from inside the box. Real were full of momentum and it was just a question of time until Juanmi scored our second goal. The third goal, which was scored by Oyarzabal, put the icing on the cake after a great second half. Thus, Real earn three points, get back to winning ways, climb up the table and face the future with optimism.
