“Forever grateful, enjoying every moment”

Álex Remiro marked his 300th official appearance for Real Sociedad on Sunday. Since arriving in the summer of 2019, the Cascante-born goalkeeper has climbed to become the club’s third all-time goalkeeper in appearances, with only Arconada and Alberto ahead of him.

His arrival coincided with the beginning of one of the most successful spells in recent history. Five European qualifications and a Copa title have followed, with Remiro playing a key role throughout. Now, with the team in outstanding form, the closing stages of the season offer another opportunity to make history.

Real Sociedad TV caught up with Álex to reflect on his journey across seven seasons guarding the txuri-urdin goal.
