Real couldn't overcome Rayo Vallecano in the match played this evening at Reale Arena. It was a tight game with few chances in which defenses prevailed over attacks.
It was an even first half as neither team was able to put any pressure on the other goal. There were no clear opportunities, except for a shot from Zubimendi in injury time that Dimitrievski sent to the corner. The match remained open before the break.
After the restart, Real dominated more that the visitors, even though they had trouble producing scoring chances. The only opportunity from the hosts was a left-footed shot by Zubimendi that was blocked by the goalkeeper. Rayo did not attack much in the second half.
One point is not enough, but the team's impending ambitions provide great excitement for what lays ahead. We are Real.
