Real could only secure one point in their visit to Nuevo Mirandilla. The realistas didn't play their best game, and despite having chances to win, they were forced to settle for a point that felt insufficient.
The txuri urdin struggled in the first half, unable to connect their normal long combinations that allow them to dominate and set the pace. The Gaditans had a great opportunity, but Remiro foiled Chris Ramos in a brilliant one-on-one. In the first half, Real wasn't precise in attack and couldn't trouble the Andalusian keeper.
Sadiq and Brais created two solid chances in three minutes for Imanol's side in the second half. Real took control and deserved to score. Zubimendi's left-footed shot from Kubo's cross hit the crossbar. The finest Andalusian chance came from Ramos' header, which Remiro saved for a corner.
It's not the nicest way to cap off a fantastic year, but we're looking forward to a 2024 full of challenges and goals. We are Real.
