La Real Sociedad have reached an agreement with Hamari Traoré, who will join the club on a three-year deal. The player passed his medical at Policlínica Gipuzkoa this morning and, subsequently, signed the contract in the headquarters of the Reale Arena. Hamari joins la Real on a free transfer after six seasons at Stade Rennais and will remain at the club until the end of the 24-25 season.

Experience for the right wing

Hamari Traoré was born in Bamako (Mali) on January 27, 1992. He began his soccer career at USFAS Bamako in his hometown and, at the age of 20, he signed for Paris FC. One season in France was enough to sign for Lierse in the Belgian First Division, where he spent two seasons. A top performance lifted him to the French top division to sign for Stade Reims, where he remained two seasons until signing, in 2017, for Stade Rennais, a team where he has played until today. An undisputed right-back player, Hamari Traoré has been a key player in the successes of the French side and a regular figure in European competitions in the last decade. International player for Mali on 43 occasions, he arrives at la Real to contribute his experience and quality at the right-back.
