Nacho Monreal is experiencing his first day as a txuri urdin player. The defender trained this morning with his new team mates before attending the media.
Jokin Aperribay welcomed Nacho and thanked him for his commitment to join Real Sociedad. The Navarra-born player said he is delighted to be on board at La Real. “I am a very competitive player, I am in good shape physically and I’m really looking forward to achieving our objectives. I’ve come here to give everything I’ve got - to play, compete and win games”. When asked about his new club, Monreal explained, “I’ve always got on well with Real Sociedad players, I have visited Donosti many times and I have always been very fond of this club. I like the club’s outlook and I love the way Real Sociedad play football... I identify with that and those are the reasons I’ve come here”.
Later this evening, he will have another chance to share a few nice moments together with the fans – Nacho will be at the official club store on Calle Elkano from 18:30 hours.
