REAL SOCIEDAD 2-1 RC CELTA

Important win

La Real claimed a comeback win against Celta as they were able to dig in and go on to win the game and clinch all the three points. The txuri urdin put in a great performance against a team that plays wide open. Hugo Mallo put the vicitors in front, but the hosts hit back with two goals by Portu and Januzaj.

The contest was wide open. It was a frenetic game from the off. Both teams attacked well and were clinical. Hugo Mallo was the first to test the keeper and put the visitors ahead with a header. Fortunately, the realistas reacted quickly. Portu latched on to a Carlos Fernández through ball to beat the goalkeeper and make it 1-1. Shortly afterwards, La Real could have had a penalty when Villar tangled with Isak in the box. Before the break, Murillo brought down Le Normand and Real was penalty awarded. This time, Januzaj made no mistake from the penalty spot.

La Real could have added a third in the second half but didn’t capitalize on their chances. The side from Galicia were relentless as they searched for a goal but the txuri urdin did a god job and took a crucial win at home. Aupa Real!
