Four txuri-urdin players have been called up by their national sides to play the next international games. Carlos Vela will be playing in the Mexico National team and Illarramendi will play with the Spanish National team. Moreover, Mikel Oyarzabal and Igor Zubeldia have been called up by Spain U-21 team.
Asier Illarramendi
Illarramendi has been called up by Julen Lopetegui. The Spanish National team is the first qualified team to play the World Cup Russia 2018. In the qualifying round they will play against Albania and Israel.

The national team coach Juan Carlos Osorio has called up Carlos Vela in order to play the next two games. The Mexican National Team has not lost any qualifying match so it is already qualified to play the World Cup.

Mikel Oyarzabal and Igor Zubeldia
Both are part of the 24-man squad and it is the debut for the player from Aizkoitia. There will be 20 players on the 8th of October squad list which will be the ones traveling to Slovakia for the match of October 10.
