Real have drawn 1-1 in today’s league fixture against SD Eibar at the Reale Arena. Barrenetxea scored a terrific goal for Real, while Enrich got the goal for SD Eibar. Real were not sharp in front of goal but a draw was a fair result.
Just three days after the victory in Naples, the realistas returned to LaLiga action and went all out to win the game from the moment they set foot on the pitch. They went into the game strong and setting the rhythm. The very first attack of the game saw Isak losing a great opportunity. In the minute 20, Barrenetxea powered Real ahead with a thunderous strike. What a hit. Eibar tried their luck through Bryan Gil but Remiro didn’t make any save.
Real found it more difficult in the second half and Eibar drew level. Enrich restored parity for Los Armeros with a striker’s finish. Real reacted well. Portu found himself in a wonderful position but sent the ball over the bar. Then, Zubeldia’s goal was disallowed for offside and Enrich header’s hit the post. Game over.
Draw was a fair result but one point is not enough. Next up for Real is a match at the Camp Nou on Wednesday. Aupa Real!
