Real earned a much-needed win at the Reale Arena after beating Cádiz 4-1 in a match which they dominated from start to finish. Oyarzabal and Isak converted the braces that sealed the txuri urdin victory.
La Real came out with the aim of getting back to winning ways and did so by dominating the game. Isak pressed high and la Real got the ball back easily in order to break into the opposition box. Then, a VAR check gave Real a penalty and Oyarzabal broke the deadlock from the penalty spot. Just minutes after scoring his penalty, Oyarzabal converted his brace to make it 2-0. Just before the break, Cádiz were reduced to ten men when Mauro was sent off.
La Real started the second half playing brilliantly, and dominated the ball again. Isak got his brace inside 15 minutes. He scored his first goal after converting from Januzaj’s pass. Soon after, he went back on the scoresheet to get his brace. Later, Jairo got one goal back for Cádiz. The txuri urdin had more goal scoring opportunities but neither Merquelanz nor Carlos Fernández were able to finish them off.
This was a much-needed win in LaLiga and specially at home. A very valuable victory for the txuri urdin. Next stop: Getafe. Aupa Real!
