REAL BETIS 1-0 REAL SOCIEDAD

Matter of accuracy

Vídeo

Today, Real fell short during their visit to the Benito Villamarín (1-0) against Real Betis. The txuri urdin players were not able to beat an effective Betis side although they improved as the match went on and created clear goal scoring opportunities. Real searched for the draw but they missed the chance to clinch points away from home.

Real found it difficult to get into the rhythm of the game. Betis were dominating the game but when Real reacted, the team from Seville scored the opening goal. Junior netted the first of the match after a corner kick. Real could have scored the equalizer through Sandro and Zurutuza. However, none of them found the back of Pau’s net.

In the second half, Real went for it completely and had many chances. They really deserved to take home at least one positive result, but they lacked accuracy on goal. Oyarzabal, Sandro or Willian José came close to netting our equaliser without success. Real had good feelings at the end of the game but they return from Seville empty-handed.

This is the end of a good run of results but there is no time for regrets. We have an important match on Wednesday. Real will face Celta in the second leg of Copa del Rey and will go all out for victory! Aúpa Real!
