Today we are launching the official 2018-19 poster. From tomorrow October 19, it will be available in our stores at Elkano Street and Centro Comercial Amara Shopping Center (San Sebastián). The txuri-urdin family can pick up the poster from 17.30 p.m at the new shop in Elkano Street where they will meet the captains Illarra, Zurutuza and Oyarzabal.
Background
Continuing the tradition of recent years, this campaign’s photo is a nod to the Basque Country. This time, the players pose in front of a precious landscape: Zarauz Beach, surrounded by the Mouse of Getaria and Mollarri Island. According to the guidelines set by the new txuri-urdin shop, the picture combines the current style and the idea “Honor and effort”.
This year’s design breaks with what was the traditional kit of previous seasons. Now, the focus is just epic. Asier Illarramendi, poses by the sea shore flanked by his teammates. The picture is powerful with a high contrast between the dark and stormy background and the bodies of the 25 txuri-urdin players. Moreover, they tried different ways of posing, which resulted in a natural and original picture.
