Our way to the final

Real Sociedad deservedly punched their ticket to the Copa del Rey final. The road has been far from easy but we’ll play in Sevilla on April 18. This video shows the best moments of each match.

Our way to La Cartuja started in December. First, we crossed paths with CD Becerril, a team from Palencia that plays in Third Division. Our first challenge was against an opponent that later became a friend. We beat CD Becerril 0-8 and made it to the next round. Next, we faced AD Ceuta, another team that plays in Third Division. Imanol’s side beat 0-4 with goals in the second half. Later, we played two games at the Reale Arena. We welcomed RCD Espanyol and CA Osasuna in our new stadium. We beat the pericos 2-0 and the rojillos 3-1.

The most difficult challenge was at the Bernabéu. On a match to remember the realistas beat Real Madrid 3-4 in the quarter-finals. There was show, there were goals, suffering and joy.

We faced CD Mirandés in the semi-finals. The team from Miranda has been a total revelation. Both legs were very even but the txuri urdin beat Mirandes to end a 32-year wait for the Copa final. 2-1 at the Reale Arena and 0-1 at Anduva. There is only a small step left to be made towards lifting the trophy. Let’s go for it! Aúpa Real!
