Qualified in extra time

Real Sociedad needed extra time to overcome UB Conquense and secure their place in the next round of the Copa del Rey. Despite a valiant effort from the hosts, it was an extra-time strike from Brais Méndez that ultimately clinched the win for the Donostiarras.

The visitors, as anticipated, controlled much of the game and carved out several clear chances in the first half but failed to convert. Marín saw his shot blocked by a defender after rounding the goalkeeper, Olasagasti forced Raúl into an excellent save with a long-range effort, and Martín came close with a header from a corner.

In the second half, Real Sociedad increased their control of the game but creating opportunities remained a challenge.The match went into extra time, where the txuri-urdin's superior quality proved decisive. Brais Méndez found the net shortly after the restart, scoring the goal the visitors needed. It was a hard-fought victory. Real Sociedad moves on to the third round of the competition. We are Real.
