Real Sociedad fell to Osasuna at the Reale Arena (0-1). Despite a solid performance, the txuri urdin struggled to find the net, while Osasuna, capitalizing on a corner kick, secured all the three points.
The first half was truly entertaining, with little interruption and high tempo as both teams tried to reach the opponent's area with danger. André Silva, very active, came close to putting Real ahead with a strong header from Galán's cross. Kubo, with a powerful shot from inside the box, made Herrera do his best. Osasuna enjoyed less clear chances than the hosts.
Imanol’s side started the second half well, but just when they were at their best, a corner kick provided a goal for the Navarrese. Budimir headed in to open the scoring. From that moment on, the txuri urdin launched an offensive, relentlessly pressuring Herrera's goal. They went all out in attack, but once again lacked finesse in the final meters.
The realistas are stuck at home, where they have not won since the end of November. We need to regain our home strength to get back into Europe, where we want to be. Next up for the txuri urdin is a Champions League clash on Wednesday. We are Real.
