Yesterday, Real Sociedad Fundazioa was awarded a prize in the second edition of ‘Encuentros SER Gipuzkoa’. These awards are given by Radio San Sebastián Cadena Ser and are intended to acknowledge the work of athletes, clubs and institutions as role model for teaching values through sport. All of them take on this commitment in favor of inclusion in sport.
Since its establishment, our foundation has been working in favor of the above mentioned inclusion. One of the most important events of the foundation is the Elkarri On Trophy. With the support of ATZEGI, this event takes place on the first of May at Zubieta. Andoni Iraola, Director of Real Sociedad Fundazioa, Mitxel Lacunza, Director of ATZEGI and Iñaki Chivite, player both for ATZEGI and our LaLiga Genuine team were awarded this prize in recognition for their work in favor of inclusion.
The labor of the club Salto Bera Bera and the work of the IDK former player Julene Olabarria, were also acknowledged at his event that took place at The San Sebastián Aquarium. Before the awards were given, there was an interesting round table meeting on sport as a platform for values.
