La Real Sociedad and Real Madrid have reached an agreement over the transfer of Take Kubo. La Real Sociedad, in turn, has reached an agreement with the player until the end of the 26-27 season.

More quality for the attack

Takefusa Kubo was born in Kawasaki, Japan, on June 4, 2001. He joined FC Barcelona's youth system as a 10-year-old. Bureaucratic problems forced his return to Japan in 2015, where he played for FC Tokyo. He made his debut in the Japanese first division at the age of 15. A few months after his return to his club of origin and some months on loan at Yokohama Marinos, Kubo signed for Real Madrid in the summer of 2019. In recent years, he has been loaned to RCD Mallorca, Villarreal, Getafe and again to Mallorca, the club where he played for last season. Moreover, he has played into the full Japanese national side on 18 occasions.

With a lot of experience despite his 21 years, Kubo arrives at la Real with his quality, playfulness and dynamism in order to contribute to the txuri urdin offensive game. Ongi etorri, Kubo. Welcome!
