La Real Sociedad and Cádiz CF have reached an agreement over the transfer of Joseba Zaldua.
It has been eight seasons in the first team squad –one year loan in Leganés– fulfilling the dream of every txuri urdin child. A committed player who has given his 100% in all 190 games played for the first team and every time he has dressed the txuri urdin jersey. First, he played in the lower categories of the club to later make his first team debut in an incredible match –the 4-3 comeback against Celta–. He has been able to enjoy the best experiences thanks to the team’s participations in the Europa League and has also been part of great achievements, specially the the Copa del Rey title. He will be remembered as part of the brilliant history of the txuri urdin club.
He begins a new stage in his career and we wish him all the best. Moreover, as fate would have it, he could make his debut with his new team against la Real in the first game of LaLiga. Zaldua will always be one of us. Thanks for everything, Joseba.
