This afternoon marked the official presentation of our new Main Sponsor. Baghdadi Capital is joining the txuri urdin club for the next three seasons, during which the first team will display the company’s name on the front of their match shirts.
In the morning, representatives from our new sponsor visited the Zubieta training facilities. Later, they headed to the Anoeta Stadium, where first-team players Aritz Elustondo, Álex Remiro, Ander Barrenetxea, Brais Méndez and Orri Óskarsson posed in the new kits featuring the logo of our principal sponsor. The event was attended by Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay and Baihas Baghdadi, Executive Chairman and Founder of Baghdadi Capital. After the photo session, both addressed the media.
Jokin Aperribay thanked the club’s new partner for “the enthusiasm with which you have joined this project. It has been an honest and sincere conversation. This is a three-year agreement, extendable to five. We hope it will be a very fruitful relationship for both sides.”
Baihas Baghdadi said, “It is a great honor to sponsor Real Sociedad, a dream come true. Both organizations share the same values: hard work, perseverance, and long-term vision. It is the perfect match. This sponsorship is the best way to express who we are.”
