This afternoon, Real played their penultimate friendly of pre-season at the Stadium Gal (Irún). Thanks to their determination and confidence, the txuri urdin team beat Osasuna 2-0.
Eight days before LaLiga start, Real played a very challenging match against an opponent in the same category. In the first half, the team from Guipúzcoa were superior to the side from Navarre, controlling from the first minute. Both Le Normand and Sangalli had chances to score but Herrera denied them. Real hardly let the team from Navarre have a kick and this superiority ended up showing on the scoreboard.
In the second half, Imanol Alguacil’s team remained the superior side and the goal arrived in the 47th minute. After an assist by Januzaj, Oyarzabal opened the scoring dribbling past the goalkeeper. The game slowed down but the txuri urdin had the situation under control. 20 minutes before the final whistle, Oyarzabal helped Portu to sentence the game.
Real took the win but the best part is that we leave with good sensations. Tomorrow, Real will face Eibar in the final match of their pre-season.
