Real Sociedad earned a point at El Sadar after drawing 1-1 against CA Osasuna. Despite Osasuna took the lead early in the game, the txuri urdin equalized and deserved to win, but a lack of accuracy did not allow it to happen.
The game got complicated from the start. Budimir, after receiving a pass from Areso in the box, set up Moi Gómez to score the game's first goal. A setback. Soon after, Sadiq nearly equalized but his shot was blocked by Herrera and Barrene couldn't capitalize on the rebound. Despite setbacks, Real Sociedad continued attacking. Sadiq had another chance, but his shot from a corner was just wide. Take also had an opportunity with a well-placed left-footed shot, but it missed the target. Just before half-time, Sadiq's impressive run ended with a well-placed shot, similar to last week's goal. A fantastic goal once again. Brais enjoyed the last chance of the first half with a slightly off-target left-footed shot.
After the restart, Imanol’s side maintained control. Osasuna, on the other hand, had the opening chance, with Moi Gómez's cross-shot narrowly hitting the post. While the opportunities were less frequent than in the first half, Real Sociedad had clear chances. Take's left-footed shot was saved by Herrera, and Merino's header on the rebound was cleared off the line by the Osasuna keeper. A missed opportunity. Real Sociedad dominated the second half, but lacked the accuracy and luck required to secure the three points at El Sadar. Despite the team's persistent efforts, the match ended in a draw.
