The two newest additions to the Txuri-Urdin squad, Orri Óskarsson and Nayef Aguerd, were introduced to the media this afternoon at the Reale Arena. Joined by club president Jokin Aperribay, both players expressed their excitement and determination to begin this new journey at Real Sociedad, confident they can accomplish great things with the team.

Both the defender and the forward expressed their gratitude to the club for placing their trust in them. “I’m really happy to be at such a historic club. I’m ready to give my all, both on and off the pitch,” said Nayef Aguerd. Meanwhile, the Icelandic forward added, “This is a fantastic opportunity for my career and to take the next step forward. I’m looking forward to many successful years here.”

Both are eager to perform well with their new team. “I’ve come here to continue growing with the Club and to achieve the best possible results.” I love the team’s style of play. It’s full of quality, but what stands out to me the most is the collective spirit. It’s a humble group, and I appreciate that,” said Aguerd. Óskarsson highlighted his motivation: “What drew me here was how the Club nurtures young players and helps them develop through its strong work culture. I believe many players would love to be part of this. I’m ready for the challenge and excited to make my mark. It’s a big step forward for me, and I’m ready to give my best."
