Start of work on the foundations, stairs & ancillary elements

The required cuts and diversions to the overground and underground facilities in the vicinity of Anoeta will be carried out in order to lay the foundations of the external pillars, which will support the new roof from street level.

In addition, the edges of the exterior stairs will be shortened to enable the construction of the exterior posts that will support the roof. In their place, new stairs will be put in position so as to guarantee that visitors are able to access and exit to the stadium with the same ease as they currently are.
