The target has not been achieved. Real picked up a point against SD Eibar (1-1) in a clash in which Real went ahead through an early goal by Juanmi, but the visitors reacted in the 85th minute to even up the score line.
Being put through in goal by Sangalli, Juanmi scored the second fastest goal in the history of Real Sociedad. However, the first half was not very exciting. There were spells of possessions for both sides, the armeros desperately searched for the equaliser and Real failed to make the most of their chances.
Real suffered in the second half. Eibar could have scored their first with two chances. Shots by Enrich and Escalante hit the post and Eibar consistently pushed forward searching for the equaliser. They found a reward for their work with a goal by Jordán that made it 1-1 on the scoreboard.
Real rescued a point that’s not enough to ensure a place in the European competition. Aúpa Real!
