Agreement for the loan of Duje Ćaleta-Car

Real Sociedad and Olympique Lyonnais have reached an agreement for the loan of Duje Ćaleta-Car until the end of the 2025-26 season. The txuri urdin club also retains an option to buy the Croatian defender.

Duje Ćaleta-Car (Šibenik, 1996) is a right-footed centre-back who usually plays on the left side of the defence. An undisputed member of the Croatian national team, he has earned 33 official caps. With extensive experience in France’s Ligue 1, having played for both Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais, his excellent defensive positioning and vision will provide the team with a distinctive edge from day one.
