The wait was worth every minute. We are already focused on the final and set to play our most important match. As for tonight, La Real didn’t play a bad game but fell to Barça 1-6 at the Reale Arena.
Barça took the initiative from the opening. They didn’t create goal scoring chances but played in our half. As the minutes went on, the realistas started to look comfortable on the box. The first real goalscoring opportunity came when Isak’s shot was denied by Ter Stegen. Barça took the lead in the minute 37. Dembelé should have buried Alba’s cross but, after Remiro’s save, Griezmann made no mistake and slotted home. Isak tried his luck but his powerful right-footed shot was stopped by Ter Stegen. Just before the break, Dest doubled Barça’s lead after a pass from Messi.
Any hope of a comeback was lost in the second half. Dest prod in a second goal and Messi added Barça’s fourth in the minute 56.
Then, Debelé scored the fifth and Barrenetxea powered an unstoppable effort to at least get off the mark. Messi scored in the final minute.
It is time to recharge batteries and start thinking about the final. We’ll be going all out for victory! Aupa Real!
