Real Sociedad’s Women’s team began their pre-season this afternoon. Juanjo Arregi’s players returned to work rested with batteries fully recharged to confront what will be another exciting campaign. Bea Beltrán, Claudia Zornoza and Michi Goto were the new faces in the first training session of the summer. Mariasun Quiñones, who is currently on international duty with Spain at Women’s EURO 2017, was the only absentee. The squad completed the first session back on pitch z4 in Zubieta.
Before the session got underway, the txuri-urdin players posed for a group photo out on the pitch. Real Sociedad TV spoke to Juanjo Arregi, who is hoping that this season will be as exciting as the last: “The objective is to improve on what we did last season. A very demanding start to the league awaits us, but we will be going into it with great determination”.

Real Sociedad Women have five friendly games lined up for the pre-season:
5 August: Round-robin tournament in Logroño. Teams: Logroño, Racing de Santander and Real Sociedad. The first game will kick off at 11 hours CEST.
13 August: Girondins - Real Sociedad (17:00). Anglet.
15 August: Zarautz - Real Sociedad. Kick-off time to be confirmed. Zarautz.
19 August: Zaragoza - Real Sociedad. VIII Trofeo Villa de Pradejón. (18:30 CEST). Pradejón.
27 August: Real Sociedad - Athletic. Euskal Herriko Cup Final. (12:00 CEST). Elgoibar.
During the mini-break in the Liga Iberdrola, a friendly has been arranged against Osasuna on 16 September.
