REAL SOCIEDAD 1-0 LEVANTE UD

Another win

La Real beat Levante to continue their steady progress. The txuri urdin won 1-0 in a match in which their reward could have been a greater one. An early goal by Merino clinched the win over Levante to pick up the three points at home.

The first 45 minutes were spectacular. La Real put a lot of intensity in but the score could have been better at the break. The txuri urdin took the lead through a Merino goal after 10 minutes. They were very good in attack but didn’t take advantage of the opportunities. Oyarzabal missed his first penalty in LaLiga and Isak was not able to beat Cárdenas in a one-on-one. Furthermore, they had more opportunities but could not capitalise on their chances.

After the break, the side from San Sebastián had much success in the way of creating chances but lacked accuracy on goal. The realistas dominated for large stretches but did not take advantage of their chances to add more. Despite creating plenty of chances, Isak, Le Normand and Portu were unable to find the back of the net in the second half.

La Real consolidate their place in LaLiga. If they continue in this vein, they will be closer to play the European competition. Aupa Real!
