Real Sociedad is creating an official twitter account today specifically for the Arab community and to position the txuri urdin club in the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa) as part of its ongoing, and recently intensified, international expansion.

To celebrate the launch of this initiative, Real Sociedad TV spoke with Faris Al-Hathloul, a 28-year-old Saudi Arabian native who was born in Riyadh. Al-Hathloul has been a devoted txuri urdin supporter for 20 years and is a fan of Real Sociedad as well as Gipuzkoa and San Sebastian.
"I love this place more and more each time I visit." When asked about the club and its members, Faris' response can be summed up in this phrase. "Thanking them won't ever be enough because they aren't my friends; they are my brothers." He always talks about the txuri urdin family with pride and admiration, which is mutual.
