Collaboration agreement

Real Sociedad and Texas Football Academy, an academy based in Austin, Texas, have reached an agreement to collaborate on youth player development. The Basque club will support the academy’s methodology and training over the coming season.

As part of this agreement, Real Sociedad will send one of its coaches to Austin for the entire season, tasked with transferring the club's training methodology on the ground to the coaches and players of Texas Football Academy.

The agreement has initially been signed for one year, although both parties intend for the collaboration to become an ongoing, long-term relationship. With this step, Real Sociedad strengthens its presence in the United States, one of its strategic markets, placing Austin alongside Boise as the club's two key points for its internationalization process in North America.

Alisher Nazir, founder and president of Texas Football Academy, visited Zubieta to see the club's day-to-day operations firsthand and immerse himself in Real Sociedad's methodology and way of working.
