Real got through to the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. The txuri urdin beat CA Osasuna (3-1) in a tie which was decided in the second half. The Reale Arena was packed with fans cheering for Real. We got our ticket for the next round and we want more.
A special night awaited at the Reale Arena. The good atmosphere reminded a lot of the good old days. The team from San Sebastián went all out from minute one while the rojillos put on a good show. The first chance fell to Isak. In the 33rd minute, the txuri urdin player tried his luck with a crossed shot which the goalkeeper couldn’t stop. However, three minutes later Marc Cardona beat Remiro. We went into the break 1-1, a result which did not reflect the dominance shown by Real.
The start of the second half was exciting. The players were coming and going without control but creating chances. Osasuna hit the post and their goalkeeper denied Oyarzabal. We were still 1-1 until Ødegaard scored brilliantly from a free kick. With just over 30 minutes remaining, Real effectively killed the game thanks to another goal by Isak.
Real sealed their passage into the quarter-finals of the Cup. Let the dream continue! Aupa Real!
