Real lost to Villarreal in tonight’s match at Anoeta (0-1). There was even-matched football, however, the yellows scored in the final minutes and snatched a victory. The season is set for a complicated ending. It’s a shame.
Real must keep going until the end and they fought to stay in Europe’s top flight but without success. The first half did not see in any clear chances except for a powerful shot by Willian José which went wide. The yellows also tested Rulli but with no luck.
In the second half, Real had chances into the box. The first chance of the second half fell to Oyarzabal but his shot was saved by the keeper. Villarreal bit back through Samu who failed to beat Rulli.
In the 85th minute, Villarreal scored and sentenced the game which is a final in the fight to stay at the top of the table. Aúpa Real!
