Just one point. La Real drew against Osasuna in an even match that lacked football in both areas. The rojillos went ahead in the first half whereas the txuri urdin equalised in the second.
La Real found it difficult to play their usual game as they were unable to combine or create danger in the opponents’ area. The game was dull and without much spark when Calleri sent a great strike to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. After after the hard blow, the side from San Sebastián were not better nor fluent in offense in the first half. Oyarzabal tried his luck from long range but his shot went wide.
La Real made a bright start to the second half. The hosts quickly got an equalizer as Barrenetxea scored just seconds from the start after Willian José’s assist. Then, Real played its best minutes. They were not brilliant but better than Osasuna. In the final minutes, Merino hit the post after a corner kick.
One point which is not enough for the txuri urdin. It’s just one point but at least it’s a point. Aupa Real!
