Héctor Moreno was born on Culiacán (Mexico) on the 17th of January of 1988. The 30 year old defender is left-footed and is 1’84 meters tall. First, he joined Club Universidad Nacional (Pumas) youth system and in 2006, at the age of 19, he made his debut with the first team. After one season playing with the first team, he was transferred to Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. He stayed three years and a half at the Eredivisie club. During the summer of 2011, Moreno joined RCD Espanyol and became one of the best Laliga defenders. On the summer of 2015, PSV Eindhoven announced the signing of Moreno. Thus, he would play another two seasons in the Dutch league. Last summer, he joined AS Roma. In his professional career, he has played a total of 359 games and has scored 29 goals. He is captain of the mexican national team. Internationally, he has played 89 times and he was also U-17 World Cup champion.
