Well earned point. Real drew to Real Madrid 0-0 at the Reale Arena. The realistas were firm on their first home game of the LaLiga season and won a very valuable point against the league champion.
The first half was very even. The madridistas had the control of the ball but didn’t create any danger in front of Remiro. Real Madrid had their chances through Vinicius’ speed race and Benzema’s shot, that went narrowly wide. Real had some difficulties in entering the opponents’ area but they had the clearest chance of the first half just before the break. Isak shot from outside the box but his strike went wide.
The side from San Sebastián had a very good chance at the beginning of the second half. Barrenetxea fired a left-footed shot but it hit the post. Real played a very good match but didn’t have goal scoring opportunities. Zidane’s side didn’t own the match anymore but they tried their luck. However, Remiro proved his quality. None of the teams seemed to have chances to win.
Second straight draw for Real, a team that each day grows bigger each day. A great start to LaLiga in a very difficult and exciting season. Aúpa Real!
