First defeat of the season. Tonight, Real fell to Valencia 0-1 at the Reale Arena in a match that was dominated by the txuri urdin. However, Real suffered a setback after a goal by the side from Valencia.
Real got off on the right foot. The txuri urdin injected dynamism with Isak having the first chance of the match. However, the player was unable to beat Domenech. The che side tried their luck and shot straight at goal but our goalkeeper was strong at keeping the ball out. Imanol’s team were the superior side in the first half but they didn’t improve their efficiency in front of goal.
After the break, the txuri urdin grew into the game but didn’t create goal scoring opportunities until Oyarzabal shot and the ball ricocheted off of the defender. Subsequently, the side from Valencia opened the scoring through Maxi Gómez. Then, Real had an injury-time equallizer ruled out by VAR.
This defeat ruins our good start to the league. Next up for Real is a match at home against Getafe! The txuri urdin will go all out for victory! Aupa Real!
