Friends and neighbours

Real Sociedad beat Deportivo Alavés in another magical night at the Reale Arena on Thursday. It was a thrilling game, between neighbours and friends, and there was a feelgood atmosphere between the two clubs and both sets of fans – as they always is whenever our paths cross.

A good example of that relationship was the first encounter at our stadium between the two cub mascots. Txurdin and Babazorro got on like a house on fire from the off - both of them enjoying the brilliant atmosphere and brought a smile to thousands of fans watching the match. It was the start of a great friendship.
